Gem Lake

Here is Gem Lake in the Lumpy Ridge area of Rocky Mountain National Park. This lake is a popular hiking destination in the park. Being on top of Lumpy Ridge, the lake has no inlet. The lake lies at an elevation of about 8,800 ft (2,682 m), and it's about a 1,000 ft (305 m) climb from the Lumpy Ridge Trailhead. This picture was taken on November 6, 2020.
