We just finished this new blogging system. Most of the software is written in Racket which is a version of the Scheme programming language. Blog posts are written in markdown and converted to html using the Pandoc document converter. Pandoc is written in Haskell by John MacFarlane.

The system is what is known as a static blogging system. Many of them exist. We decided to write our own to give ourselves the freedom to design and set it up the way we want and experiment with it. After making sure there are no major bugs we will probably release the source code under a GPL license.

All the posts from the old blog have been moved to the new.
