River rock with hematite inclusions

Here is Colorado river rock with hematite inclusions. A 0.5 mm diameter pencil lead is shown on the right for scale. Hematite is the main ore of iron.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with 49 mm long extension tube.
