Alfalfa Leaf
Here is part of an alfalfa (Medicago sativa) leaf. At this scale you can see tiny hairs on the leaf. Alfalfa is already beginning to grow on the Colorado Front Range. Known primarily as a livestock feed, it's also consumed in various forms by humans.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm) on a 49 mm long extension tube.
