Cantaloupe Rind
Here is the net-like rind of a cantaloupe. Cantaloupes with a net-like pattern are a hybrid developed in North America in 1881. Cantaloupes were originally introduced to America by Christopher Columbus in 1494.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm) on a 49 mm long extension tube.
