Dandelion Parachute Head
Here is a close up of the surface of a dandelion parachute head. There are from 54 to 172 seeds per head. A single plant can make 5,000 seeds or more per year.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm) on a 49 mm long extension tube.
