Here is an insect at 100x magnification from a Russian olive flower. We had picked some flowers, put them in a bag, and after several days, numerous bugs like this were visible in the bag, presumably having come off of the flowers. Could it maybe be an aphid like Capitophorous elaeagni whose primary host is the Russian olive?
