Yarrow Flower 2
Yesterday's picture was of yarrow (Achillea millefolium) flowers. Today we take a closer look at the central region of the flower at 40x magnification. Right click for full resolution. The stigmas appear to be near the center of the flower, and the stamens further out. The petals, of which there are 5, seem to originate between the stamens.
Equipment used: AmScope M150C microscope with Raspberry Pi camera module V2 (8MP).
