Thistle Flower
Here is a wavyleaf thistle (Cirsium undulatum) flower. Right click for full resolution. This particular type of thistle grows throughout the west. Native Americans used the roots, both cooked and raw, for food.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
