Common Burdock Bur
Here is a bur of common burdock. Right click for full resolution. These seed pods stick easily to socks and animal fur. The hooked ends were the inspiration for velcro.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
