Pasqueflower
Here is a pasqueflower (Pulsatilla nuttalliana) near Gem Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. Right click for full resolution. This flower blooms in the spring (photo taken May 14), and is the state flower of South Dakota, as well as the provincial flower of Manitoba.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
