Waxflower Seed Pods
Here are seed pods of the waxflower (Jamesia americana) shrub. Waxflower grows in North America from Wyoming south to New Mexico, and west to California. This picture was taken on August 13, 2020 in the foothills of Boulder County, Colorado. The Apache would occasionally eat the seeds.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
