Smooth White Aster
Here are smooth white aster (Symphyotrichum ericoides) flowers in the foothills of Boulder County, Colorado. The plant is native to much of North America. The centers of the flowers turn reddish with maturity. The Meskwaki used it to revive the unconscious.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
