Mica in Quartz
Here is a diamond shaped piece of mica embedded in a quartz rock found in the foothills of Boulder County, Colorado. The diamond is about 4 by 7 mm in size.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
