Here is common fireweed (Chamerion angustifolium) flower found near Brainard Lake in Colorado's Indian Peaks. The flower is the floral emblem of the Yukon, where it's used to make jelly. Bear and elk eat the plant.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
