Here is moss (Bryophyta) found on the forest floor near Brainard Lake in Colorado's Indian Peaks. Mosses are non-vascular, and are one of the first kinds of plants to evolve. They don't produce seeds, but propagate by way of spores. There are about 12,000 species of moss.
