Russian Olive Fruit
Here is a fruit of the Russian olive (Elaeagnus angustifolia) tree. It measures 9.2 x 11 mm. The fruit is eaten by birds, thereby distributing the seeds.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm) on a 49 mm long extension tube.
