This flower was found growing near the Pear Lake Trail of Rocky Mountain National Park at an elevation of about 10,500 ft (3,200 m) on September 14, 2020. Note the distinctive black spots on the inner part of the petals, and the bug inside the flower. The plant is only known to grow in the four states of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
