Spring Beauty Flower

Here's a spring beauty (Claytonia rosea) flower we came across today in Lefthand Canyon in the foothills of Boulder County, Colorado. These are one of the earliest flowers to appear in the spring here.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
