Escaping The Nutshell

On Oct 2, 2026 we hiked from the Lawn Lake Trailhead to the Mummy Mountain summit. Distance is about 7.5 miles (12 km), altitude gain is 4900 ft (1494 m), and the time to reach the summit was about 4 hours. The first two minutes of the video are timelapse of the route up to treeline. The rest of the video is from near the summit. Sorry about all the heavy breathing. The climb was a bit intense near the top.
