Escaping The Nutshell

From the closed gate at the entrance to Peaceful Valley Campground we headed up Bunce School Rd (FR 105) then Forest Rd 202, then trackless forest to the west ridge of Peekaboo Peak. Due to snow we turned around there at around 10,300 feet (3,139 m). Elevation gain was about 1750 ft (534 m).
