Shrubby Cinquefoil Stigma
While yesterday we looked at a stamen of shrubby cinquefoil (Dasiphora fruticosa subspecies floribunda), today we look at the stigma at 40x magnification. The stigma is the pollen collecting part of a flower. Right click for full resolution.
To compensate for depth of field limitations, this image was created by focus stacking 14 images using Hugin Tools.
Equipment used: AmScope M150C microscope with Raspberry Pi camera module V2 (8MP).
