Here is a glob of fungus found growing below a layer of dead needles under a backyard blue spruce tree. We do not know what type of fungus it is. This picture was taken in Longmont, Colorado on October 8, 2019.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
