Here is kinnikinnick (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi), also called bearberry, growing off the Black Canyon Trail in Rocky Mountain National Park. This plant has had many uses for Native Americans, including food, antiseptic, and smoking. This picture was taken on Oct 18, 2017.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
