Here is blue grama (Bouteloua gracilis) grass at Button Rock Preserve in the foothills of Boulder County, Colorado. It grows as far north as Manitoba, and as far south as Mexico. This grass has the peculiar property of having its inflorescence sometimes loop into a full circle. This picture was taken on March 2, 2021.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
