One-sided Penstemon

Here is a one-sided penstemon (Penstemon virgatus) flower at the Lefthand OHV area in Boulder County, Colorado. This plant seems to be found only in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado. The plant was used as a life medicine by the Navajo. This photo was taken on June 29, 2021.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
