Here is a pricklypear cactus (Opuntia polyacantha) flower at the Lefthand OHV area in Boulder County, Colorado. This plant is widespread in western North America from Canada to northern Mexico. It is used for food by humans and animals. This photo was taken on June 29, 2021.
