Alfalfa Flowers and Honeybee

Here are alfalfa flowers with a honey bee in the Lefthand OHV area of Boulder County, Colorado. Honeybees have a lifespan of 2 to 4 weeks, while alfalfa plants can live up to 20 years. This photo was taken on July 21, 2021.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
