Marigold Flower

Here are marigold (Tagetes erecta) flowers. Although they're native to the Americas, they're often called African Marigold. The Cherokee have used this plant to make yellow die and as a wash for eczema. This photo was taken on August 25, 2020.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
