Wax Currants

Here are wax currants (Ribes cereum) off the Buchanan Pass Trail in the mountains of Boulder County, Colorado on September 17, 2021. The berries and foliage are edible. Many Native American tribes have eaten the berries fresh and preserved.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
