Here is a gray jay (Perisoreus canadensis) in the mountains of Larimer County, Colorado. In the Colorado mountains these birds are usually found in forested areas at 10,000 feet (3,048 m) and higher. The gray jay does not migrate, and lives off its food caches in the winter. This picture was taken on October 5, 2015.
