Aspen in Autumn Colors

Aspen colors seem to be at their peak now at Brainard Lake Recreation Area in northern Colorado. Even after the leaves fall off, the aspen can still photosynthesize through its bark. This picture was taken on October 7, 2021.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
