In the foreground is Goemmer Butte, a volcanic plug near La Veta, Colorado. Volcanic plugs are formed by hardened magma inside a vent of an active volcano. The two mountains in the background are East Spanish Peak (left) and West Spanish Peak (right). This picture was taken on October 17, 2021.
