Blue Grama Grass

Here is a closeup of blue grama (Bouteloua gracilis) grass at Button Rock Preserve in the foothills of Boulder County, Colorado. This grass has a distinctive look with its elegantly curved inflorescence that sometimes loops into a full circle. The picture was taken on November 22, 2021.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
