Happy Vesak Day, commemorating the birth, enlightenment and death of Gautama Buddha. Today is Vesak Day in China, Vietnam and the Philippines, but it is one week later in Singapore and Indonesia. The Buddha statue in the photo was taken on May 5, 2022 in Longmont, Colorado off of Mountain View Avenue near its intersection with Meadow Street.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
