Here is a red poppy (Papaver rhoeas) flower off the Mount Sanitas Trail in Boulder, Colorado, as photographed on June 14, 2022. It's an Old World plant, used as a symbol of remembrance for fallen soldiers.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
