Wood Duck Family Hiking

Here's a wood duck family we met while hiking the Waldrop Trail in the Brainard Lake Recreation Area of Boulder County, Colorado, on August 5, 2022. They were hiking along the trail ahead of us for awhile, occasionally stopping to splash in trailside water, before turning left into the forest.

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a standard zoom lens (EF-S 18-55 mm).
