The columbine plant that this flower belongs to was purchased locally in the springtime of this year. At that time it was flowering. It did not fare well in the heat of the summer and seemed to be almost dead by the time we got around to planting it. Now that cooler weather has come, it has greened up and is flowering again. This photo was taken on September 17, 2022. There are 60 to 70 species of the columbine flower genus. We're not sure which variety this one is, but think it may be Aquilegia flabellata.
Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a telephoto lens (EFS 55-250 mm).
